Information we collect

• Account and profile information: your account identifier, email address, name, profile image, username, bio, headline, and links you provide.
• Terms acceptance: for accounts created through the acceptance flow, the Terms version and server timestamp recorded when signup completes.
• Content and communications: product listings, drafts, images, videos, comments, product feedback, and messages you send to the Moey team.
• Activity information: viewed products, feed impressions and skips, saves, likes, follows, outbound product clicks, and video or prototype interactions, including time spent viewing media. Signed-in activity may be associated with your account.
• Technical information: session identifiers and upload diagnostics used to deliver the service and troubleshoot failures. Hosting and media providers also receive connection information, such as your IP address, when your browser requests their resources.

Google sign-in

When you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier and basic profile information, including your email address, name, and profile image when available. We use this information to authenticate you, create or connect your Moey account, and initialize your profile. Your name and profile image may appear on your public Moey profile; your Google email is not a public profile field.

Moey requests Google profile and email access for sign-in. This sign-in integration does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendar. We do not receive your Google password.

You can review or revoke Moey’s Google connection in your Google Account settings. Revoking that connection does not itself delete your Moey account or information already stored by Moey.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts and profiles, publish and display content, support social interactions, deliver notifications, manage uploads, and respond to questions or feedback. Viewing history helps avoid repeatedly showing products you have already seen. Interaction data supports product rankings and creator analytics, including aggregate measures of product and media engagement.

We also use information to maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems.

Cookies and browser storage

Moey uses session cookies to keep you signed in and security cookies to protect requests. We also use local storage and session storage to remember your theme, maintain feed sessions and viewing history, queue interaction events for delivery, remember interface choices, and recover interrupted uploads.

These technologies can operate automatically when you use the relevant features. Guest viewing history is kept in your browser and used to avoid repeated products; feed requests can include product IDs to exclude and a session identifier. Signed-in viewing history is also recorded by the service.

You can clear or restrict cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out, reset preferences, or affect history and upload recovery. Clearing browser storage does not delete information already recorded on our servers.

Public content and service providers

Your public profile, published product listings, maker credits, comments, and other public contributions can be viewed by other people. Share only information you intend to make public. Draft product listings are not published until you publish them.

We use infrastructure providers to host the service, store files, and deliver media. Google provides sign-in. Videos and interactive prototypes may be delivered by YouTube, Cloudflare, or Figma. Loading thumbnails, preloading players, or opening embedded content can send connection information to these providers, which may use their own cookies or storage under their privacy policies. YouTube privacy-mode embeds do not mean that no information is sent to YouTube.

Product links may take you to independent websites. Their information practices are governed by their own policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, abuse, or threats to the service or its users.

Copyright notices and counter-notices may be shared with the other party, including relevant contact details, so they can respond. Safety reports may require us to share relevant allegations or evidence to investigate; do not include unnecessary personal information. See our Copyright & DMCA Policy.

Retention and security

We retain account information, content, and activity records to operate the service, provide history and analytics, and address security or legal needs. Different records have different retention periods. Removing a listing from public view does not necessarily immediately erase related records or uploaded files.

Signed-in viewing history and the qualified-view records used to build that history are configured for cleanup after 90 days. Cleanup runs periodically, so removal is not instantaneous. Other interaction events and creator analytics are separate records and do not all follow this history retention period.

Guest feed history is limited to 500 entries and entries older than seven days are filtered when that history is accessed. Browser data can remain on your device until it is cleared. We use access controls and request protections to help protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can edit your profile and use the feed’s “Clear viewing history” control. Clearing history does not disable future recording or erase all interaction analytics. You can also manage site storage in your browser and revoke Google access separately.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information or account, email trungnguyenquochn2202@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Your available rights depend on applicable law, and some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents by email.

Children’s privacy

Moey is intended for people aged 13 and older, subject to any higher minimum age required where they live. Children under 13 must not create an account or submit personal information.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to Moey, contact us at the email below so we can investigate and address the information in accordance with applicable law.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the latest update. For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice on the service and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
