Copyright & DMCA Policy.

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Moey respects creators’ rights. Users must have the right to share the projects, images, videos, and other material they submit. This page explains copyright complaints and the U.S. DMCA notice and counter-notice process.

Where to send a complaint

Send copyright complaints to the individual operating Moey at trungnguyenquochn2202@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright notice — Moey”. Include the information below so we can locate and review the material. Use plain text or ordinary documents; do not send passwords or unrelated identity documents.

This is Moey’s copyright contact. Publishing this policy does not establish that a designated agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office or that Moey qualifies for a DMCA safe harbor.

What a copyright notice should include

If you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them, provide:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature, such as your typed full name.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of works if multiple works at one site are involved. Include an original source URL if available.
  3. The exact Moey URLs identifying the material or links you want removed, with enough detail to locate the specific image, video, comment, or other contribution.
  4. Your name and contact details, including mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement of your good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law. Consider applicable exceptions, such as fair use.
  6. A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice can create liability under U.S. law. If your concern is impersonation, privacy, or a dangerous link rather than copyright, send a safety report instead.

How we handle notices

We review complaints and may ask for missing information. For a substantially compliant infringement notice, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the identified material and promptly notify the uploader. Disabling access may include the listing, media, or a link to external material.

We may share the notice and relevant contact details with the uploader so they can understand and respond to the claim. We do not promise confidentiality. We retain limited complaint records to handle disputes and repeat infringement.

Disputing a mistaken removal

If your material was removed following a copyright notice and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, email trungnguyenquochn2202@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright counter-notice — Moey”. A DMCA counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed or disabled material and its location before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, plus an email address for correspondence.
  5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the district where your address is located; if your address is outside the United States, consent to any judicial district where Moey may be found. Also state that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.

We promptly forward a substantially compliant counter-notice, including its contact details, to the original complainant and inform them that access will be restored in 10 business days. Under the DMCA process, restoration occurs no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice, unless we first receive notice that the complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. Independent safety or community-rule restrictions may still apply; we will explain any separate reason for keeping content restricted.

Repeat infringement

Moey terminates accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We consider the notices, responses, reversals, and other relevant evidence rather than treating every allegation as proven. Serious infringement can also result in content or account restrictions.

Official resources and questions

See the U.S. Copyright Office’s Section 512 guidance and Designated Agent Directory for official information. The DMCA is a U.S. process; other applicable rights and legal procedures may also apply.
